Firewad AAP01 Tank Grip Kit (3D Files Only)

This mod mounts the HPA regulator directly onto the grip and creates an ultra-compact setup, eliminating the need for an external HPA. It's compatible with all my AAP-01 lower kits. Link to those files here:

Strength and durability were the most important aspects of this project. To achieve this, the tank grip was designed to mount and screw into the AAP grip to create a strong connection and relieve stress on the magazine catch.

Currently, it is compatible with the Gen2 micro type of regulator, which is widely available under different brands or even on Aliexpress. I've included different sizes as there is some variation across brands. I strongly suggest you print the tester pieces beforehand to see which size will fit your reg best. You can access the tester file for free in my Discord server.

1 x HPA fitting for we/kj gas magazine (I used this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005006750796503.html , but airsoft shops do sell this.)

SAFETY DISCLAIMER: Always wear proper face protection when playing airsoft, especially with 3d printed parts! 3d printed parts are more likely to break, so please be careful and always wear proper protection!

To save filament and time, I've added these testers, each only 6 grams, that can quickly test which size fits your reg and mag. I strongly suggest printing this test first before printing the tank grip. Once you find the size that fits best, print the corresponding tank grip. Example: If "Tester +2" fits best, print "Main +2.STL"

I've included the 3MF file for Bambu printers. Otherwise, here are the settings I use:

Materials: PLA+, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA-CF
Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm, 0.6mm
Layer Height: ≤0.20mm
Wall Loops: 8
Infill: Gyroid 40%
